Codes: In order to activate content in VitalSource Bookshelf
you must purchase the book from the VitalSource Store or with a
redemption code. Redemption codes are sold by various retailers.

| Troubleshooting Redemption Code Errors | |
| If your redemption code is 20 digits, copy and paste it from the source into Bookshelf. Make sure there are not any extra characters in the redemption code field. If you cannot copy and paste the code, make sure the code is entered in properly. | |
| If the redmeption code has already been used and you are looking to download your book to a new computer, second computer, or had to restore your computer. Follow the instructions in the Adding a Second Machine troubleshooting topic. | |
| If you have a redemption code that keeps giving you an error, contact the VitalSource Servivce and Support Line to have them look up the redemption code and provide assistance. |
