Can I read my book in Facing Pages?
This will depend on your eTextbook type. Two different types of electronic textbooks are sold in the VitalSource Bookstore: Reflowable Text VitalBooks (ePubs) and Page-Fidelity VitalBooks (PDF).
If your eTextbook is a Page-Fidelity textbook you can set your view in Facing Pages on the desktop version of Bookshelf (for Windows and Mac). To do this click ton the Aa button, then select "Facing Pages".
If your eTextbook is a Reflowable Text (ePub) then you will not be able to view your pages in Facing Pages.
To know what type of textbook you have, in the main Bookshelf view, hover over the book cover and click the (i) for information about this text. The information pane will tell you the book type.
