Create links in bookshelf

The Vitalsource bookshelf application has the ability to create links that you can use in presentations - especially helpful for faculty creating slides for class!

By default bookshelf will use an online based link. This link type allows for the person who clicks on the link the option to choose if they want to view the link in Bookshelf (Downloadable) or Bookshelf (Online.) You must have an active internet connection for the link type to work.

The alternative is an Offline based link. This link does not need an active internet connection in order to work. But it only works with the downloadable Bookshelf. This is a great choice for faculty if there are students who will be using the downloadable Bookshelf in an environment that does not have reliable (or any) network connection.
