Students can process their own refunds for purchases from the VitalSource store as long as the following conditions are met:
- Purchase was completed from the US/Canada, UK, or Australia VitalSource store
- It has been within 14 days of your purchase
- You have not yet revealed/used the access code for any online resource that may be included with your eTextbook purchase.
- You have not viewed and/or printed, in total, more than twenty percent (20%) of your ebook.
How to process a refund
From the store:
Go to the User Account icon and click on the purchases button
Select the Request Refund button
Fill out the form and select the Confirm Refund Request button
Please note: Once you have successfully completed your refund request, it may take up to 10 business days to post back to your account.
Refunded purchases will show up in the Orders section in Your Account center.
