Searching your Bookshelf Library

Search your Bookshelf® digital library to find passages in your books, research, and find resources to supplement primary course materials.
Activate a search by clicking the magnifying glass icon on the main navigation panel.
Enter your search term in the search bar. Bookshelf automatically begins searching your library and populating search results.
Search Your Library for a Book Title
To search for a title that you have access to, enter a keyword for the title, author, or ISBN in the search bar. As the typeahead populates, book matches will be displayed. Select a result to jump directly to a book.
To view all title results, finish typing your keyword or phrase and press Enter to view all results. Results for titles that you have access to are returned in the Titles tab.
Search your Library for Content Inside a Book
To search for a term inside the books in your license, enter the keyword, phrase, or glossary term in the search bar. To search for an exact phrase, make sure that you place quotation marks around the words within the phrase—this is how Bookshelf knows that you are grouping those words together.
As the type ahead populates, you can select to search within my titles or finish typing your keyword and press Enter to view all results.
Navigate to the Book Content tab to view all books in your license that include the term. Book results will be returned in order of recent activity, favorites, and then all remaining books in your license.
