Where is my Subscription?

If you recently purchased a VitalSource Subscription that you wish to view on our native apps, you will need to upgrade to the latest version of Bookshelf to search and explore all the content available to you.

How to Upgrade

Upgrade on iOS, Android, Chromebook or Kindle

  1. Open the app store on your device.
  2. Either find this app in the list of installed apps or search for this app in the app store.
  3. Once you see the app, tap "Update" to update the app to the most recent version.

Upgrade on Mac

  1. Click "Help" in the application menu bar at the top.
  2. Click "Check for Software Update...".
  3. Follow the instructions to update your app.

Upgrade on Windows

Subscriptions require Bookshelf 8.1 or higher.  If you are running Windows, you will need to upgrade to Windows 10 before you can install Bookshelf 8.1 or higher.   

  1. Open The Microsoft Store
  2. Search for Bookshelf in the Windows store.
  3. Click "Get."
  4. Follow the instructions to update your app.

Why must I upgrade to the newest version of Bookshelf?

Upgrading to the latest version of Bookshelf will allow you to use new features releases, such as Subscriptions, and benefit from the performance improvements, and bug fixes.
