VitalSource Bookshelf Password Update Email
If you receive either of the following emails, use these steps to reset your password and regain access to your account.
Reset your password
1. Visit our Forgot Your Password Page
In your web browser, visit https://bookshelf.vitalsource.com/#/user/forgot and enter the email address used with VitalSource.
We send the reset email from Do.Not.Reply@vitalsource.com. Run a search for "vitalsource" in your Inbox. You may also need to check your Archive, Deleted Items, Junk, Spam, and Trash folders. To help ensure the proper delivery of emails to your Inbox, you can add senders of legitimate emails to your Whitelist, also called the Approved or Safe Sender list. Password resets requested from www.vitalsource.com come from the email address email@example.com, which you will also want to whitelist.
2. Check your account email
Make sure the email you submit is correct for your VitalSource account.
3. Click the link in the password reset email
Password reset emails contain a link good for 24 hours, click the link to create a new Bookshelf password. Your password must be at least eight (8) characters, with one number, one special character, and cannot be the same password you are using.
4. Sign In to Bookshelf
After resetting your password, you may sign back into Bookshelf, the VitalSource Store, or Educators portal.
