Sampling Email Verification Not Received
Follow the steps below if you Sampled a title from the Faculty Sampling Portal, and you did not get the email titled, "Confirm your sampling request and add it to your library."
Why are the Faculty Sampling Portal email verifications necessary?
As an approved instructor, when you renew or sample a new title from the VitalSource Faculty Sampling Portal, you will receive an email that contains a link inside. The link inside the email is what adds the title to your account.
If you are not receiving the verification emails, you will not be able to add new content to your account.
What to search for in your inbox
VitalSource sends all Faculty Sampling Portal emails from the email address, firstname.lastname@example.org.
Search for "VitalSource" or "email@example.com" in your inbox. Make sure to check your Archive, Deleted Items, Junk, Spam, and Trash folders.
How to ensure delivery of future emails
To help ensure the proper delivery of emails to your inbox in the future, add the email address firstname.lastname@example.org to your inboxes permit list, also called the Approved or Safe Sender list.

Corporate or Institution provided email address?
If your employer or Institution provided the email address you are using with VitalSource, you might need to contact them and have them check to see if they have any rules that are blocking emails from email@example.com. If they are, they should be able to add VitalSource to their permit list, ensuring future emails arrive promptly.
Check the email address you are using with VitalSource
Make sure the email you are using with VitalSource is legitimate. Check for spelling errors, are you using the right domain (e.g., .edu, .com, .co.uk), can you send an email to the email address you are using with VitalSource?
Resend the request to sample a title
After 24-hours, you can once again go through the process of adding the title to your library. When you add the title to your library, VitalSource will send a new verification email.
Verify you are receiving emails
Verify you can receive emails. If you are unable to receive emails, please check with your email provider for a solution.
