Reset your Faculty Sampling Portal Password
If you have issues when you try to sign in to the Faculty Sampling Portal with your email address, use these steps to reset it and regain access to your account.
Reset your password
Use the steps below to reset your password from any trusted Phone, Tablet, or Computer. If you do not receive a password reset email from VitalSource within 30 minutes of requesting one, please make sure that you can receive emails from VitalSource, and request a new password reset email, or contact VitalSource Support for assistance.
If you live in a country that prohibits the use of Google-based reCAPTCHA, reset your password at bookshelf.vitalsource.com.
On www.vitalsource.com
- Go to https://www.vitalsource.com/forgot_password.
- Enter the email address you use with the Faculty Sampling Portal
- Click the "I'm not a robot" checkbox and, if prompted, complete the reCAPTCHA challenge.
- If the email address you entered in step 2 has an account associated with it, you will receive an email containing a link to reset your password.
- Click the link and follow the onscreen steps to update your password.
On bookshelf.vitalsource.com
- Go to https://bookshelf.vitalsource.com/#/user/forgot
- Enter the email address you use with the Faculty Sampling Portal
- If the email address you entered in step 2 has an account associated with it, you will receive an email containing a link to reset your password.
- Click the link and follow the onscreen steps to update your password.

- If you still can't sign in with the email address you used with your Faculty Sampling Account and password, make sure that you entered the correct email address. In most cases, the email address is your institution provided email address and the same email address used with Bookshelf.
