Subscribing to VitalSource System Alerts
VitalSource works hard to minimize system downtime for our clients and customers. In the event there is a service interruption, visit the VitalSource's Status Page to see if there are any current service interruptions. Subscribe to the VitalSource Status Page to receive notifications in a straightforward, timely manner.
Follow the steps below to receive notifications via email, SMS (Text) or Twitter.

Receive VitalSource System Alerts by Email
- Go to the VitalSource Status Page
- Click on the Subscribe to Updates button
- Click on the email icon
- Enter your email address you wish to receive alerts on and click on the Subscribe via Email button
- You will receive a confirmation email to the email address you subscribed to, confirming your successful subscription.
Receive VitalSource System Alerts by Text (SMS)
- Go to the VitalSource Status Page
- Click on the Subscribe to Updates button
- Click on the phone icon
- Enter the phone number where you wish to receive alerts on and click on the Subscribe via SMS button
- You will receive a confirmation SMS to the phone number you subscribed to, confirming your successful subscription
Please Note: You will only receive SMS notifications whenever VitalSource creates or resolves an incident. You will not receive any status updates during an event. Message and data rates may apply for SMS (Text) Alerts. Go to www.statuspage.io/terms for terms and conditions.
Receive VitalSource System Alerts from Twitter
- Go to the VitalSource Status Page
- Click on the Subscribe to Updates button
- Click on the twitter icon to view the VitalSource Support Twitter account (@vstsupport)
- Follow @vstsupport to receive notifications on service interruptions.
