Uso de los códigos de canje de VitalSource

Activa tu eTexto VitalSource creando una cuenta de Bookshelf y canjeando el código en Bookshelf Online.

Con Bookshelf, puedes leer tus eTextos en línea o descargarlos a tu computadora o dispositivo móvil para leer sin conexión a internet. Para empezar a usar Bookshelf, necesitas una cuenta de Bookshelf y un código de canje de VitalSource. Tus notas, subrayados, marcadores y la última página leída se sincronizan automáticamente, lo que te permite retomar fácilmente la lectura donde la dejaste.

Crear una cuenta de Bookshelf

1. Visita nuestra página de registro aquí.
2. Completa el formulario o usa un nombre de usuario alternativo (Google o Apple ID, si está disponible) y acepta los Términos de uso y la Política de privacidad.
3. Haz clic en "Crear" para completar tu cuenta.
4. Al seleccionar "Crear", aparecerá el siguiente mensaje para informarte de que deberás verificar tu dirección de correo electrónico.

Una vez que verifiques tu cuenta, tendrás la opción de Canjear Código o Explorar la Tienda.

Canjear un Código

Hay muchas maneras de agregar libros electrónicos de VitalSource a tu cuenta. Una de las más populares es mediante un código de canje. Todos los códigos de canje de VitalSource son códigos alfanuméricos de 20 dígitos. Bookshelf Online es el lugar más conveniente para canjear un código.

Canjear un código de VitalSource

• Inicia sesión en Bookshelf Online con tu correo electrónico y contraseña.
• En la sección Inicio, haz clic en Canjear código. Desde la sección Mi biblioteca, haz clic en Canjear código en el menú superior a la derecha. 

• Añade tu código de canje en el cuadro de código y haz clic en Canjear. Para canjear varios códigos, haz clic en el botón "Añadir otro" y canjea hasta cuatro.

• Tu biblioteca se actualizará con tus nuevos libros. Actualizar la biblioteca puede tardar unos minutos. Nota: Puedes actualizar la app manualmente actualizando el navegador.
• Haz clic en la portada del libro para empezar a leer.

VitalSource Bookshelf está disponible en todas tus computadoras y dispositivos móviles favoritos. Lo mejor de todo es que, una vez que descargues tu ebook a tu computadora o dispositivo móvil, podrás leerlo con o sin acceso a internet.

Como usar Bookshelf sin conexión a Internet 

1. Visita la página de descargas de VitalSource e instala Bookshelf en tu dispositivo favorito.
2. Inicia sesión en Bookshelf con tu correo electrónico y contraseña.
3. Tu biblioteca se actualizará y te mostrará todos tus ebooks.
4. Haz doble clic o pulsa la portada de un libro electrónico para descargarlo a tu dispositivo.
5. Una vez descargado, podrás leerlo y usar todas las funciones de Bookshelf, con o sin conexión.

Using VitalSource Redemption Codes 

Activate your VitalSource eTextbook by creating a Bookshelf account and redeeming the code in Bookshelf Online.     

With Bookshelf, you can read your eTextbooks online or download them to your computer or mobile device to read without internet access.  To get started with Bookshelf, you will need a Bookshelf account and a VitalSource Redemption Code. Your notes, highlights, bookmarks, and last page read are automatically synced, making it easy to pick up where you last left off.

Creating a Bookshelf Account

1. Visit our registration page here.
2. Fill out the form or use you an alternative login (Google or Apple ID if available) and check to agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
3. Click Create to complete your account.
4. The following message will display after you select Create to inform you that you will then need to verify your email address.

Once you verify your account, you'll have the option to Redeem Code or Browse Store.

Redeem a Code

There are many ways to add VitalSource eTextbooks to your account.  One of the most popular is by redemption code.  All VitalSource Redemption Codes are 20 digit alphanumeric codes.  Bookshelf Online is the most convenient place to redeem a code.

Redeeming a VitalSource code

1. Sign in to Bookshelf Online using your email address and password.
2. On the Home Shelf, click REDEEM card. From the MY LIBRARY shelf click REDEEM on the top menu
3. Add your redemption code in the code box and click Redeem. To redeem multiple codes, click Add Another button and redeem up to four codes

4. Your library will update with your new book(s). Refreshing your library may take a few minutes. Note: You can manually update your app by refreshing the browser.

5. Click the book cover to begin reading

Read offline with VitalSource Bookshelf: 

VitalSource Bookshelf is available on all of your favorite computers and mobile devices.  Best of all, once you download your eTextbook to your computer or mobile device, you can read your eTextbooks with or without internet access.

Getting Started with Bookshelf Offline

1. Go to the VitalSource Download page  and install Bookshelf on your favorite device.
2. Sign-in to Bookshelf using your email address and password.
3. Your library will update and show you all of your eTextbooks. 
4. Double-Click/Tap on a cover of an eTextbook to download it to your device.
5. Once downloaded, you can read your book and use all of Bookshelf's features, online or offline.
