Installing Bookshelf for Chromebook

Here’s what you need to do to update your Chromebook to the latest version of Bookshelf.

  • Tap the Chromebook Download Button to go directly to the Bookshelf download page in the Google Play Store. Or on your Chromebook device, double-click the Google Play Store icon, and search for "Bookshelf." 
  • Tap the Install button and tap the Accept button. You may be prompted to sign in to your Google Account.

Sign In to Bookshelf

You will need to sign into Bookshelf to see all of your eTextbooks. If you don’t know the email address you used with VitalSource or password, we can help.

If you forgot your VitalSource Credentials visit the Password Retrieval Page.

Deactivate unused devices

If you have two active mobile devices, make sure that you deactivate unused devices so you can update to the latest version of Bookshelf.
